Job Summary
Architects and Technologists at Perkins & Will perform in self-directed roles across the building design process, including preparing presentation materials, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building, rendering, and construction administration within established budgets and schedules. Responsibilities include preparing preliminary design studies, drawings for schematic design and design development, client presentation materials, design sketches, renderings, models and graphics, adhering to design and sustainability goals, preparing contract documents with details and schedules, producing amendments and bulletins, assisting with adaptations and technical alternatives, performing area calculations and site analyses, following the Perkins and Will Project Delivery Manual, organizing tasks, self-checking for accuracy, omissions and legibility. Requirements include a Professional Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, 4+ years experience, minimum 2 years with Revit, experience in Contract Administration, knowledge of project design and construction documentation, graphic and 3D visualization skills, effective communication, collaborative work ethic, ability to mobilize between sites, and LEED AP or within 12 months of hire. The studio emphasizes inclusion, open collaboration, and is currently operating with four in-studio days per week; compensation includes comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $70,000-$90,000.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
- 4+ years experience
- A minimum of 2 years working with Revit
- Experience in Contract Administration
- Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable
- LEED AP or within 12 months of hire
- Graphic and 3D visualization skills

- Has the capacity to mobilize from one construction site to another
