Designer I Motion Control

Conceptualize and model parts or assemblies using existing components, modifications, or new designs per the Hilliard Engineering Drafting Manual and Department Manual. Prepare drawings and details for customer orders and new products with supervisory assistance, ensuring complete part descriptions through close collaboration with Engineers and Product Managers. Check detail and sub-assembly drawings, select standard hardware, electrical, piping, springs, and bearings, and compute angles, weights, surface areas, clearances, tolerances, and hole locations. Enter Bills of Material as directed by the supervisor. Accept direction from Engineers and Designers while maintaining open communication across all personnel and departments.
