Job Summary
Electrical Designer I role performing basic electrical design for midstream oil and gas projects, including annotating and laying out electrical, instrument and control drawings using Kahuna pre-developed tools; work under direction of experienced designers/engineers, review drawings, and develop 2D models while adhering to standards and SOPs; requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to communicate project details; reporting to Manager, Electrical Designer; basic CAD drafting skills and familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- community college drafting/CAD courses preferred
- proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks, Microsoft Office and Excel
- ability to annotate and layout electrical, instrument and control drawings
- basic understanding of electrical theory
- DOT-regulated company; pass initial drug screen and background check; must be eligible to work in the United States
