Job Summary
Designer I at Ware Malcomb supports the Project Manager or Interior Designer in delivering innovative design projects. Responsibilities include assisting in design and documentation across all project phases, providing AutoCAD and Revit support, aiding in 3D renderings and client presentation graphics, preparing mood boards and presentations, coordinating with consultants and vendors, contributing to space planning concepts and construction documentation, and supporting construction administration activities under supervision. This entry-level role requires a Bachelor's degree or technical degree/certificate in Interior Design/Architecture, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/Adobe Suite, strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, and the ability to interpret construction drawings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree/certificate in an accredited Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture related program
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Ability to work with your team members to solve problems involving multiple options
- Understanding and application of design principles, theories, color and materials
