Job Summary
Greet store customers, schedule design appointments, and provide advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Design and sell complete, functional solutions while managing multiple simultaneous customer projects through all phases with consistent communication. Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation, model best practices, and engage with current design trends. Utilize design applications including Salesforce and the Online Design Appointment Scheduler to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
- Degree in Design is a plus
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position
- Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required
Desired Qualifications
