Job Summary
Floor & Decor Designer responsibilities include meeting with customers to understand project needs, educating them on requirements, and building a design concept aligned with personal style, lifestyle, and budget. Duties involve greeting customers, scheduling design appointments, advising on tile/stone/wood/accessories for residential/commercial projects, managing multiple projects with timely follow-up, collaborating with store leadership, supporting company initiatives, and staying current with design trends while utilizing design tools and scheduling platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
- Degree in Design is a plus
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
