Job Summary
Greet store customers, schedule design appointments, and provide advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Develop creative design concepts that incorporate client style, lifestyle, and budget while managing multiple simultaneous projects through all phases. Collaborate with store leadership to move inquiries to installation, utilizing Salesforce and proprietary scheduling tools. Maintain consistent communication with customers and model best practices for store employees. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
- Degree in Design is a plus
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position
- Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Design is a plus
