Job Summary
Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs while scheduling appointments for existing and potential clients. Provide advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects, then design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions. Manage multiple simultaneous customer projects through all phases with high accuracy, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up. Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation, model best practices, and engage with current design trends. Perform duties as assigned, including utilizing design applications and supporting company initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
- Degree in Design is a plus
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position
- Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required
Desired Qualifications
