Job Summary
Floor & Decor Designers provide a consultative design service, building lasting relationships and brand loyalty with customers. Responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling design appointments, providing advice on flooring and accessories for residential and commercial projects, and managing multiple customer projects with accuracy and timely follow-up. Proficient use of company communication tools is required. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of interior design or retail/sales experience, basic math skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Design is a plus
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position
