Job Summary
Prepare shop tickets and erection drawings for precast concrete structures using AutoCAD and other drafting software. Confer with the Project Lead to review priorities, plot details, and ensure shop cards accurately represent concrete pieces for carpentry, steel, and production teams. Complete Bills of Materials, check shop cards against erection drawings for accuracy, scrub red-lines, and present verified cards for final check. Detail steel cards from sketches or markups provided by design engineers. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- At least three months of related experience
- At least one course of instruction in computer aided drafting
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software with a focus in precast structures and/or commercial/residential construction
