Job Summary
Complete fabrication details for shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and towers using computer-aided drafting programs. Review job packages to extract project-specific requirements and coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to quantify special needs. Develop detail fabrication drawings and bills of materials while checking drawings produced by others. Ensure all work complies with ASME safety regulations and AWS/AISC codes. Minimum one year of experience designing power generation equipment is required, along with proficiency in 3D modeling software.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with ASME Pressure Vessels and/or S&T Heat Exchangers
- Formal Training and proven proficiency in Computer Aided Drafting
- Minimum 1 year of experience designing or detailing Power Generation equipment including Filter Houses, Inlet and Silencer Ducting, Exhaust Ducting, Liner Systems, HRSGs, Stacks and Structural support steel
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of AWS and AISC codes and specifications
- Software proficiency with RCS
