Job Summary
Design and draft cryogenic piping and process equipment, creating shop drawings from models to support manufacturing. Analyze existing products to suggest design improvements and provide technical assistance to customers and prospects. Develop engineered products while collaborating effectively with internal departments and external partners with minimal supervision. Requires familiarity with ASME B&PV Code and B31.3 Pipe Code, proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Solid Modeling, and strong organizational skills. This six-month contract-to-hire role supports a supplier to national laboratories, defense, and launch facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Applicable technical degree
- Familiarity with ASME B&PV Code and B31.3 Pipe Code
- CAD skills consisting of Autodesk product suite and Solid Modeling using Inventor
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to work effectively with other departments, external partners, and customers with minimal supervision
