Job Summary
Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm concepts that align with client goals and team vision. Assist senior designers in selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings to elevate project functionality and aesthetics. Develop preliminary space plans under supervision and support the creation of detailed drawings and interior documentation. Participate in the production of furniture and finish packages, contributing to cost estimates and specifications. Conduct site visits and surveys to document project details and ensure design accuracy while collecting key information for client assessments. Use design software to make corrections and enhance drawings based on senior staff feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in interior design or related fields
- ideally with exposure to corporate interior projects
- equivalent educational experience
- A strong foundation in interior design principles
- understanding of color, materials, and form
- Knowledge of space planning, furnishings, and equipment selection
- Basic skills in sketching, rendering, and interior detailing
- willingness to refine these skills through mentorship and hands-on projects
- Experience working with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software
- familiarity with creating and updating construction documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
