Job Summary
Crate and Barrel Designer drives sales and a differentiated customer experience by delivering elevated design solutions in-store, in-home, and virtually. Responsible for creating moodboards, 2D/3D floor plans, and design packages that align with brand standards, delivering projects on schedule, and communicating effectively to guide customers from concept to completion. Utilizes design tools and technology to present options, participates in clienteling and design services education, and collaborates with store and design teams to support business goals while maintaining impeccable product presentation and a strong focus on customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/ customer service experience
- Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred
- Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles
- Excellent, effective, and timely communication skills and the ability to translate the brand vision of CB2 and the customers wants/needs
- Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
