Job Summary
Drive sales and customer engagement by conducting in-store and in-home consultations to deliver elevated design offerings, including moodboards, 2D and 3D floor plans, and product presentations. Lead design consultations via email, phone, or virtual channels while maintaining active presence on the sales floor to promote programs and leverage leads. Develop design packages to brand standards, ensure timely project delivery, and actively listen to identify products meeting customer needs. Communicate company loyalty services and support store training to educate clients on design offerings. Maintain operational excellence through impeccable product presentation and careful use of digital tools, while collaborating with store and design teams to support business goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/ customer service experience
- Experience working one on one with clients and recommending solutions
- Proficient in Google platforms
- Proficient in virtual communication
- Proficient in design tool experience
- Ability to stay up to date on current design trends
- Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles
- Excellent, effective, and timely communication skills and the ability to translate the brand vision and the customers wants/needs
- Strong affinity for technology (2D and 3D tools, Google suite, video conferencing, iPad)
- Proficient in floor planning
- Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
