Job Summary
Drive sales and customer engagement by conducting in-person and virtual design consultations, creating moodboards, 2D and 3D floor plans, and delivering tailored product presentations. Develop design packages to brand standards, maintain active salesfloor presence, and ensure timely project delivery within determined timelines. Actively listen to customer needs to recommend solutions, deliver individual sales and service goals, and support store training on design offerings. Maintain operational excellence through impeccable product presentation and proficiency in digital tools, while collaborating with teams to support business objectives and build lasting client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/ customer service experience
- Experience working one on one with clients and recommending solutions
- Proficient in Google platforms
- Proficient in virtual communication
- Proficient in design tool experience
- Ability to stay up to date on current design trends
- Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles
- Excellent, effective, and timely communication skills and the ability to translate the brand vision and the customers wants/needs
- Strong affinity for technology (2D and 3D tools, Google suite, video conferencing, iPad)
- Proficient in floor planning
- Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
