Job Summary
Own and evolve the brand's visual identity across web, social, email, and packaging while personally producing high-quality hero assets like banners, landing pages, and product galleries. Set creative direction for campaigns by translating marketing objectives into visual concepts, then guide and review social content for Instagram and Facebook, direct email marketing creatives, and lead product packaging from concept to execution. Oversee e-books and digital plans, champion motion design and 3D visualization, and shoot/edit product photography. Provide mentorship to designers and freelancers to maintain brand consistency. This full-time, remote contractor role requires EU hours availability (GMT) and 5+ years of experience in graphic design or art direction.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design or art direction
- Ideally in an agency or marketing-focused environment
- Track record of owning brand or campaign-level creative direction
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative direction and hands-on design across web assets, social media, email creatives, and packaging
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools
- Strategic creative thinker with a strong grasp of branding, design trends, and performance-driven visual storytelling
- Able to translate business goals into visual concepts
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable giving direction to designers
- Comfortable partnering closely with marketing and media teams
