Job Summary
Develop comprehensive interior design plans including layout, materials, and finishes using industry-standard software. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to refine designs and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Stay current with design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture and 2+ years of residential design experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in residential design
- Knowledge of measuring and estimating
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in home decor products, concept design, and layout development
- Experience in design development and project collaboration within a professional setting
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or licensure in Interior Design or related professional accreditation
- Experience with sustainable design practices and knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Background in project management or client-facing roles within design projects
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
