Job Summary
Support the design and development of Aje Athletica & Studio collections by researching market trends, creating mood boards, and developing cohesive concepts. Produce tech packs, CADs, and coversheets to communicate design details to suppliers, while collaborating with Production and Garment Tech teams to ensure samples meet quality and performance standards. Manage fabric selections and developments against critical path timelines, providing detailed technical specifications and supporting fittings to translate designs into final products. Update seasonal design documents and communicate lab dip feedback to maintain alignment with the critical path.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in colour, design detail, fabrics and print development
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Experience working in a fast-paced design environment, managing multiple seasons simultaneously
- Understanding of garment construction, fit and fabrications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with strong CAD skills
- Ability to think critically, take initiative and solve problems
- Strong communication skills when working with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Efficient and energetic in the undertaking of tasks
