Designer A - Piping

Design detailed piping system layouts and drawings, coordinate with other sections to ensure design accuracy and integration, review drawings and potentially enter production areas, ensure CAD standards and Bollinger guidelines, use Ship Constructor software, coordinate vendor information for compatibility, and incorporate feedback from owners and regulatory bodies into designs. Strong piping design principles and drafting techniques, familiarity with shipbuilding/industrial piping, regulatory standards, and proficiency with drafting materials and CAD software are required. Two years of college coursework toward an AA degree in Industrial Technology or related field plus relevant design experience; Level A with 6+ years of experience is indicated.
