Job Summary
Designed Sisterhood Graphic Designer creates and develops graphic design under the vision of the Lead Pastor and Assistant Director of Mercy & Motion, ensuring brand cohesion for James River Church across publications, websites, and digital marketing. Responsible for producing high-quality graphics for Designed Sisterhood, Designed for Life, and church events, collaborating with multiple teams, meeting deadlines, and communicating design strategies. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of graphic design experience, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and familiarity with Word/Excel; able to manage multiple projects and work within church branding guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/arts and/or marketing/communications; or equivalent degree
- Minimum two (2) years experience working in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; PC and Mac
- Ability to monitor and manage several assignments concurrently; collaborative skills with Lead Pastor’s office, Creative Team, and departments
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong team player with good judgment and integrity
