Job Summary
Schedule appointments with tank owners and conduct monthly inspections at 50+ underground storage tank facilities per month using a provided service vehicle. Travel extensively up to 1000 miles weekly to visit sites, filling out inspection checklists and entering data into an online system. Train client personnel on observations and immediately communicate non-compliance risks to the program coordinator while adhering to safety procedures. Requires ICC certification, valid driver's license, and ability to drive on varied terrain.
Required Qualifications
- ICC certified Designated UST Operator experience
- A current or prior ICC Designated UST Operator certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of UST systems and current regulations regarding their proper operation
- Ability to review and interpret reports and documents
- Ability to conduct group training events
- Ability to work effectively & professionally with clients
- Ability to speak clearly & professionally to communicate with clients
- Ability to walk on job sites that may be dirt, cement, asphalt, uneven concrete, other
- Ability to drive a vehicle to job sites and ability to drive extensive distances, occasionally up to 1000 miles per week
- Ability to drive extensively up to 1000 miles per week
- Must follow Designated UST Operator procedures

Desired Qualifications
- Use laptop, computer and printer along with ability to email, as well as learn and use TAIT specific applications or Microsoft programs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and a desire to function in a position of high visibility both internal and external to the company
- Self-direction and ability to work alone
- Good organization and scheduling skills
- Ability to read and interpret machine diagnostic reports
