Job Summary
Liaise daily with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on matters of wellbeing, child protection, and safeguarding. Serve as the primary source of support, advice, and expertise within the leadership team, reporting directly to the Head Teacher. Collaborate with colleagues across different Witherslack Group locations to enable skill development and ensure comprehensive recognition of children's needs. This role requires at least three years of experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead position, including a comprehensive portfolio of CPD related to Safeguarding and Child Protection. The successful candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal and problem resolution skills, a genuinely empathetic approach, and a full UK driving licence.
