Job Summary
Designated Esports Coordinator at West High School (Davenport District) for a .50 FTE position. Responsibilities include teaching and coaching students in esports fundamentals, developing and maintaining a competitive esports program, motivating student-athletes in both on-court and academic settings, communicating with stakeholders, supporting the strength and conditioning program, supervising before, during, and after practices/games, and promoting school programs. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with culturally diverse students, attendance and punctuality, and willingness to support MTSS implementation. Prior coaching experience and success at the state level are desirable.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience is preferred
- Experience with competition/success at the state level is desired
- Successful coaching experience at high school level preferred
