Job Summary
Coordinate service delivery and ensure regulatory compliance for residential programs serving individuals with disabilities under Minnesota Statute 245D. Provide direct oversight of 4+ individuals and lead direct support team members through training, coaching, and performance management. Monitor medication administration, maintain care plans and financial records, and manage budgets and supply fulfillment. Ensure healthy meal options and safeguard health and safety through effective coordination of support. Partner with behavioral analysts, therapists, and medical professionals to align outcomes. Provide a minimum of 16 scheduled hours in hands-on support while managing team schedules and open shift coverage. Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field
- Associate degree in a human services field
- Diploma in a human services field from an accredited postsecondary institution
- Minimum of 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities
- 1 year of full-time direct care experience with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65+
- 2 years of full-time direct care experience
- 3 years of full-time direct care experience
- 4 years of full-time direct care experience under qualified supervision
- Current CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current Medication Administration certification
- Training in supervisory skills
- Training in team building
- Training in leadership
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- 40% FTE or greater
- Ability to remain up to date on all trainings
- Ability to maintain employment in good standing
- Ability to work all scheduled shifts
