Job Summary
Oversee residential programs serving four or more individuals by coordinating service delivery, evaluating quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance under Minnesota Statute 245D. Provide direct supervision to direct support team members through training, coaching, and performance management while delivering a minimum of 16 hours of hands-on support. Manage daily operations including meal planning, supply fulfillment, accounts payable, medication administration, and maintenance of individual care and financial records. Collaborate with behavioral analysts, therapists, and medical professionals to align support plans and advocate for resident outcomes. Work onsite Monday through Friday with availability for emergency shifts, requiring current CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field
- Associate degree in a human services field
- Diploma in a human services field from an accredited postsecondary institution
- Minimum of 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities
- 1 year of full-time direct care experience with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65+
- 2 years of full-time direct care experience
- 3 years of full-time direct care experience
- 4 years of full-time direct care experience under qualified supervision
- Current CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current Medication Administration certification
- Training in supervisory skills
- Training in team building
- Training in leadership
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- 40% FTE or greater
- Ability to remain up to date on all trainings
- Ability to maintain employment in good standing
- Ability to work all scheduled shifts
