Job Summary
Coordinate and support people with disabilities in a community-based, supported employment program. Provide case management, enter attendance/work records into our system, deliver training and instruction within the supported employment environment, supervise activities to ensure safety and promote independence, integration, and inclusion, and collaborate with the team to help individuals with disabilities gain skills and independence in the community.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
- A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services, education, or health and four years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children and is under the supervision of staff person who meets the designated coordinator qualifications listed above
