Job Summary
The Designated Coordinator oversees onsite residential programs serving 4+ individuals, ensuring health and wellness needs are met, advocating for client outcomes and independence, supervising direct support professionals, monitoring medication administration, and ensuring compliance with 245D regulations. The role includes program oversight, budgeting and accounts payable, collaboration with clinicians and stakeholders, hands-on direct care hours, and maintaining regulatory documentation and communication with agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field + 1 year of full-time direct care experience with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65+
- Associate degree in a human services field + 2 years of full-time direct care experience
- Diploma in a human services field from an accredited postsecondary institution + 3 years of full-time direct care experience
- OR a minimum of 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities + 4 years of full-time direct care experience under qualified supervision
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certification
- Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
