Job Summary

Lead BIM and VDC initiatives across multiple projects, driving standardization, quality, and innovation in electrical construction. Oversee modeling, coordination, and project delivery efforts while developing and enforcing BIM execution plans aligned with industry standards. Direct clash detection and coordination using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to resolve design conflicts and mitigate project risk. Facilitate high-level communication among stakeholders and oversee multiple concurrent projects to ensure adherence to schedules and deliverables. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to BIM VDC personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support field layout coordination using Total Station technologies and assist in constructability reviews, planning, and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applied experience
  • Progressive experience in BIM VDC within the construction industry, including leadership of project-level efforts
  • Experience leading BIM VDC initiatives on electrical construction projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM VDC platforms
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and electrical construction practices
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with BIM automation tools or scripting
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms
  • Functional knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • This position may require occasional travel to project sites throughout the United States and to company headquarters in Denver, CO, as needed for project support, collaboration, training, and business operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing or mentoring BIM VDC team members preferred
  • BIM VDC-related certifications are a plus
  • Experience with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred)
