Job Summary
Execute BIM VDC processes on assigned projects by managing coordination models in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, performing clash detection, and producing 2D drawings and coordination reports. Maintain BIM Execution Plans and ensure adherence to company standards while serving as a liaison between Detailer I/II roles and the BIM VDC Lead. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams to resolve constructability issues, mentor junior team members, and lead coordination meetings. Occasional travel to construction job sites in the Western US is required.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or comparable BIM VDC software
- Understanding of construction processes and project life cycles
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities across diverse project teams
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and resolve conflicts efficiently
- Demonstrated success in maintaining project standards and supporting consistent BIM VDC execution
- Track record of fostering collaboration between technical and field teams to ensure constructible solutions
- Experience contributing to team development through mentorship and knowledge sharing
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field, or a relevant combination of education and experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites throughout the United States and to company headquarters in Denver, CO, as needed for project support, collaboration, training, and business operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale projects preferred
- Electrical construction experience preferred
- Certifications in BIM VDC-related technologies are a plus
