Job Summary
Design Technologist role providing production/support across interior architecture projects. Responsible for translating and developing designs into functional, detailed components, drawings and design packs; supports technical detailing and drawing production, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules and details; drives Revit development, imports/Converts CAD to Revit, and assists with model setups; collaborates with ARRCC project members, architects, contractors and suppliers to uphold systems and deliver thoroughly developed documentation; bridges design intent and technical execution, ensuring buildable, well-coordinated drawing sets and adherence to construction detailing and standards; requires strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, coordination across DD phases, and the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent
- Strong working experience in Revit and AutoCAD
- Minimum 1–3 years’ work experience
- Minimum project experience across at least two project types, with involvement in a minimum of three stages of the project scope
- Ability to work in a complex, multi-cultural environment
- Ability to understand and formulate design documentation
- Ability to accurately understand and interpret instructions
- Ability to learn and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
- Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail
- High level of communication, with a collaborative and approachable working style
- Clear, concise thinking
- Good judgement
- Ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
