Job Summary
Lead a senior-design machining role by programming and operating CNC vertical machining centers, Wire EDMs, grinders, lathes, and secondary equipment to produce dies, molds, and fixtures from drawings. Apply precision machining to meet tight tolerances, revise designs as needed, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Bring expertise in tool/fixture development, GD&T, Mastercam, and Creo Parametric to support manufacturing of Medtronic neuromodulation products; collaborate cross-functionally on process improvements and manufacturing equipment development in an on-site role (Minneapolis).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Haas vertical machining centers, lathes, and wire EDMs a plus
- Mastercam software programming experience a plus
- Creo Parametric familiarity
- Understanding GD&T
- Ability to read/interpret advanced drawings
- Ability to set up and run vertical CNC machining centers
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments
