Job Summary
Manage store design projects from inquiry to installation by greeting customers, scheduling appointments, and providing advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial clients. Hire and develop the design team through performance evaluations while maintaining the design center and visual standards. Collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales goals and utilize tools like Salesforce and MyProject to track leads and manage multiple simultaneous projects. Ensure exceptional customer service and support all company initiatives by modeling best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design)
- 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education
- Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years
- 3-5 years of leadership or management experience
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
- Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a Sr. designer position, ADM role, or higher
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred
