Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one design consultations in-store and in-home to assist clients with living space design, accurately measure spaces, and present tailored design plans. Drive store sales by promoting current promotions and achieving productivity goals while providing exemplary service for special orders, deliveries, and catalog requests. Demonstrate superior product knowledge across the entire assortment and coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channels. Requires 1-2 years of retail sales experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and weekend availability for two shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with the elements of design preferred
