Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one design consultations in-store and in-home to assist clients with living space design, accurately measure rooms, and present tailored design plans. Drive store sales by maintaining knowledge of current promotions and achieving productivity goals while utilizing exemplary service standards for special orders, deliveries, and catalog management. Demonstrate superior product knowledge across the entire design studio assortment and coordinate complex large orders within various sales channels.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts during the week
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with the elements of design preferred
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Specialty retail experience
