Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one design consultations in-store and in-home, measuring living spaces and creating tailored design plans to drive store sales. Deliver exemplary service by assisting customers with special orders, gift wrapping, catalog placements, and furniture deliveries while maintaining knowledge of current promotions. Coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channels and prioritize tasks to exceed established productivity goals. Part-Time Flex role requiring weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) and weekday shifts. Competitive hourly pay of $17.00-$21.00.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts during the week
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with the elements of design preferred
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Specialty retail experience
