Job Summary
The Design Sales Specialist/Home Stylist role involves inspiring customers to design their living spaces and assisting with in-home consultations to drive store sales. Responsibilities include creating and presenting tailored design plans, maintaining knowledge of current sales, and demonstrating superior product knowledge. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage complex orders, and a commitment to customer service. A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience is required, with a focus on flexibility in scheduling, particularly on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, specialty retail preferred but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with the elements of design preferred
- Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
