Job Summary
Promote the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program by drafting solutions, presenting customized portfolios, and conducting in-home consultations to translate client needs into actionable design concepts. Partner with sales teams to provide coaching on design culture, product knowledge, and strategies while achieving annual operating benchmarks and personal objectives. Create cohesive digital presentations with finish selections and décor, ensuring proper execution of administrative procedures and adherence to brand visual standards. Schedule and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings to support store management in executing special projects and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years in sales or interior design, with a residential emphasis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Computer-aided design programs
- Financial understanding
- Adept interpersonal communication

- Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

- Nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing and listening
- Often required to sit, walk, bend and stoop
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
