Job Summary
Art of Drawers is hiring a Design Sales Associate to conduct in-home design appointments, design accurate layouts and measurements, prepare quotes, and close sales with commissions. Designers act as trusted advisors who transform client frustrations into organized, accessible spaces by combining consultative selling, space planning, product expertise, and relationship building. The role emphasizes understanding customer needs first, then creating solutions that improve workflow, accessibility, visibility, and organization. Designers set their own hours and decide how far they travel, with flexible work-from-home options available. Key responsibilities include in-home design appointments with self-generated and company-generated leads, producing designs and quotes, delivering exceptional customer experiences from engagement to project sign-off, collaborating with installers and operations, uploading leads/orders/estimates/photos, earning positive reviews and referrals, and pursuing ongoing training and performance improvement.
