Job Summary
The Electrical Module Design Release Engineer will lead and manage engineering projects, focusing on the design, testing, and release of innovative Electrical Module Components. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical documentation, resolving technical issues, and ensuring effective communication between cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science
- 2+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of microcontroller architectures, memory technologies, and programming.
- Understanding of hardware design and failure modes in electronic modules.
- Knowledge of vehicle serial data communications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software/hardware requirements.
- Knowledge of software verification/validation processes.
- Knowledge of testing and associated tools.
- Capability to translate text based functional requirements into software algorithms and models.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
Desired Qualifications
- DFMEA training
- Knowledge of software algorithm design and software architecture
- Engineering Change Management Experience
- Electronic Validation Experience
- DFSS Black Belt Certification
- Vehicle Communication Tool Experience
- Wiring experience
- Design/Development of Safety Critical Systems/Components
