Job Summary
Lead the Top Mount, Bottom mount, and Single door Refrigerator design quality program from concept to implementation. Generate and implement product design changes to improve quality while tracking the quality matrix and executing yearly plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects through the product development process, ensuring comprehensive scoping and cost target achievement. Create subsystem-specific test plans for design change approvals and analyze SIR and BOM data to calculate project feasibility. Apply problem-solving tools like A3, 8D, and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously build long-term operational success.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate / Post graduate in Mechanical/ Thermal
- 7-9 yrs relevant experience in Refrigeration (Mechanical /Thermodynamics Design)
- Good Knowledge in CAD tools ( Creo 2.0 or 4.0), PLM Software- Windchill
- Design for Variation (GD&T and Tolerance Stack up Analysis)
- Application of Technical tools: Problem solving tools like A3, 8D, Cp, CpK, FMEA etc.
- Six Sigma tools and its applications
- Trained / Certified Yellow/ Green/ Black Belt
- Minimum requirements: Education: Graduate / Post graduate in Mechanical/ Thermal
- Minimum requirements: Experience: 7-9 yrs relevant experience in Refrigeration (Mechanical /Thermodynamics Design)
