Job Summary
Consult with stakeholders to provide innovative designs for renovation projects and create schematic concepts using CAD software. Coordinate design phases, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Review design documents for accuracy and consistency while facilitating communication between architects, engineers, contractors, and municipalities for permit approvals. Lead project meetings to align cross-functional teams and resolve design challenges, maintaining organized documentation and delivering regular status reports. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing design or architectural projects
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external consultants
- Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, Smartsheet)
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD certification or equivalent preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- LEED accreditation or similar design-related certification is a plus
