Job Summary
Design Fire Protection Systems for all project types by creating layouts using Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM, and generating hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication. Read, analyze, and interpret contract documents and construction drawings to ensure system performance and compliance. Lead 3D BIM coordination to manage interference with structural elements and MEP systems, while providing fabrication lists and coordinating between trades. Write plans, coordinate efforts, and make presentations to individuals and groups, developing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction. This role requires NICET certification and experience with data center or semiconductor projects. Regular attendance is required, including extended hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred (Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees), or equivalent experience
- Fire Protection design experience preferred
- NICET certification preferred
- Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM experience preferred
- Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, and Semiconductor industry projects preferred
- Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills
