Job Summary
Design Project Director for high-end residential outdoor spaces. Lead the design-build process from concept to completion, designing custom landscape, hardscape, and outdoor living environments; meet directly with homeowners to understand goals, vision, and budget; create compelling design concepts and presentations using industry software; develop project estimates and proposals; guide clients through the design-build lifecycle; coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams; conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and client satisfaction; manage the project pipeline from initial consultation through project completion. Ideal candidates combine strong design capabilities with client relationship-building, sales/BD experience, and leadership to influence design and business development.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of landscape design, outdoor living, or design-build experience
- Experience presenting designs and working directly with clients
- Sales, estimating, or business development experience preferred
- Strong understanding of landscape and hardscape construction practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Microsoft Office 365
