Design & Program Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering programs across various teams and disciplines. Define program scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics while overseeing tooling design and development aligned with APP standards. Guide program managers in executing customer programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards, and facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to drive customer satisfaction. Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and best practices, including new product launch timelines and procedures using ERP systems. Hire, train, and mentor engineers and supporting staff while providing regular reporting to senior leadership on team performance and strategic initiatives. Ensure weekly customer reporting is accurate and sent on time in compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards.

- Strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all engineering areas
- Requires extensive technical knowledge in CAD based product design and engineering design methods
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or program management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in project management
- Able to lead technical teams to solve complex problems
