Job Summary
Lead production and coordination for all project phases from conceptual design through construction documents, managing small-scale projects under general supervision. Conduct code research and analysis, investigate complex technical issues, and develop architectural solutions by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and certifying contractor payments. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients to prepare schematic design drawings, construction documents, and renderings while maintaining architectural integrity during construction administration. Support business development activities as necessary and carry out novel assignments requiring independent judgment and adaptation of standard techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture
- 1-3 years' experience as a design professional
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to effectively and confidently prioritize and execute tasks with many competing priorities
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
