Job Summary
Perform a variety of assignments applying standard architectural design techniques for small projects or sections of larger projects. Execute design layouts and features by researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned work. Engage with project opportunities as part of a larger team, taking leadership of smaller projects under guidance. Develop technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and other 3D modeling tools. Participate in professional development activities and build an industry network through relevant events. Any other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited college or university
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated mastery of the job duties listed above
- Ability to network within the industry
- Knowledge of materials, project design, and introductory knowledge of construction documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, professional manner
- Ability to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn and mentor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- On track for future professional licensure or certification
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work in Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-up, and other rendering programs is preferred
