Job Summary
Prepare technical drawings using Revit and CAD software, transforming preliminary designs into working documents while ensuring compliance with project standards and codes. Conduct code research, prepare as-built drawings, and support permit applications. Review shop drawings, document meeting notes, and respond to contractor RFIs. Collaborate with design originators and cross-disciplinary teams to resolve discrepancies and coordinate project schedules. Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and assist in developing client presentations. Complete NCARB experience hours and advance QA/QC review processes under the guidance of senior staff. Approximately 10% travel required; valid driver's license and local presence to Charlotte, NC office essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program
- Must be able to perform work-related travel
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be local to GMC office
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
