Job Summary
Modify implementation documents and create design solutions applying standard architectural techniques under general supervision. Collaborate on design resolutions, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and present project design intent to clients. Conduct product and code research, assist with material selection, and document on-site visits and field reviews. Prepare schedules, review samples, and communicate technical requirements to incorporate information into project documents. Provide guidance to entry-level staff and participate in team meetings to discuss design and coordination issues. Travel may be required. Requires an accredited professional degree in Architecture with 2-5+ years of experience, specifically in Education practice, and proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Rhino, and visualization tools.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field
- 2-5+ years of experience
- Experience in Education practice
- Actively pursuing Architectural registrations
- Advanced – expert-level experience, knowledge or skills
- Intermediate – experience, knowledge or skills required to produce high-quality solutions or work
- Basic – familiar with primary concepts or capabilities and may perform elementary functions depending on role
- Intermediate experience and skills in Revit, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, Enscape or other visualization tools
- Intermediate experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Basic skills in Navisworks
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite
- Intermediate knowledge of sustainability and integrative design guidelines
- Intermediate presentation, graphic and visualization skills to communicate ideas
- Intermediate knowledge of materials, construction techniques, building codes and QA/QC process
- Intermediate experience in the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy
- Intermediate ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
- Basic ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions
- Intermediate is required
- Intermediate ability to work in a team environment
- Intermediate ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Intermediate ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
- Travel may be required
