Job Summary
Support the team as key liaison between Industrial Design team and manufacturing leads. Track hardware manufacturing development and lifecycles across all business lines. Develop a synchronous DFM product roadmap across the hardware portfolio. Implement design requirements across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics. Update internal documentation on design mechanics and coordinate asset delivery internally and externally. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a project or product manager in hardware management, with a strong understanding of the industrial design process and design for manufacturing. Candidates must have experience with engineering teams and hardware product development, knowledge of digital asset management tools like JIRA, Coupa, and Airtable, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. The position demands on-site work at HQ in Costa Mesa, CA, for a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years professional experience as a project or product manager in hardware management
- Strong understanding of industrial design process and design for manufacturing
- Experience with engineering teams and hardware product development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally, especially between creative and technical disciplines
- A reliable self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, with attention to detail
- A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to handle complex projects on a global scale
- Must be able to carry and lift loads up to 50lbs
- Must work on-site at HQ in Costa Mesa, Ca
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
